One of my red maples and my cherry started to break bud in the last week (very excited for my first signs of life after overwintering). Given today's snow yet the warmer forecast for later this week, I opted to bring them inside under the grow light with my tropicals. (idea is that this is only for a day or two).
My concern with putting them back into the cold frame on my balcony is that the temperature fluctuations may be hard on the developing growth. I'm also aware that these do not belong indoors. Since we're in that special time for Colorado where the temperatures can range so widely in a given week, I anticipate some challenge here. What do you all think about this?
