Takayama Park Cleanup

Join us for our autumn pruning and maintenance event at Takayama Park, focusing on the development of our Japanese character pines. We're a volunteer-driven group welcoming participants of all experience levels who are eager to learn about maintaining these impressive trees.

In addition to the character pines, we also need volunteers to assist in general maintenance and weeding, and we will be joined by volunteers from the Takayama Sister Cities club to help with our efforts.

We will have members on site who are knowledgeable in the work and happy to teach and assist, so please don’t let a lack of experience keep you from joining this unique opportunity to learn about maintaining Japanese character pines in the heart of Denver.
