June Meeting

Sam Tan is a bonsai practitioner based in San Francisco, California. He is especially drawn to native North American conifers and capturing their distinctive, wild characteristics in miniature. Sam strives to create bonsai that are unique, visually compelling, and thoughtfully designed.

Sam will be doing a demo at the meeting, demonstrating techniques and the thought process behind approaching a new tree and starting the design process.
