About the event
Mike Lane began studying bonsai in 2008 under Erik Wigert at Wigert's Bonsai in Florida. After winning the Bonsai Societies of Florida styling competition in 2010, he expanded his studies through international workshops and conventions.
Today, Mike is an award-winning bonsai artist, instructor, and founder of Kitsune Bonsai. Known for his expertise in shohin and tropical bonsai, he has taught throughout the United States and internationally, with his work appearing in the U.S. National Bonsai Exhibition and Bonsai Focus magazine.
