Bonsai Ceramic Workshop - Afternoon

This workshop will introduce three techniques for making bonsai pots by hand, guided by bonsai potter Nao Tokutake. Students of any experience level will create multiple displayable high-fire bonsai pots in their own style and choice of glaze. There will be three sections to each class, each section beginning with everyone making the same design, followed by free time for each student to make their own designs. The pots will be glazed and fired at the pottery studio and delivered at a future RMBS meeting. This class is perfect for those with little or no prior clay experience and all materials and tools will be provided.

*Students can bring their own tools, and their own texture tools like pine cones, rocks, etc if they choose. All essential materials and tools are provided.
