About the event

Tom Anglewicz will be holding a beginner repotting workshop at Denver Botanic Gardens (behind the Bonsai Pavilion). If you're nervous about repotting — perhaps you have a "nursery stock challenge" plant that needs a new home — this is a great opportunity to repot a tree or two and learn this fundamental bonsai skill from an expert.

The workshop will be held behind the Bonsai Pavilion. Please bring the following items. Contact info@rmbonsai.org if you have any questions.

  1. Trees (not more than three)

  2. Pots (if you have them, it’s good to bring several alternative containers that you think might work for a given tree, so we have some choices)

  3. Soil (good draining, granular bonsai soil; not potting soil from Home Depot)

  4. Plastic drainage hole screening material
