About the event
Who Should Attend: This series of three classes is designed for beginner bonsai practitioners who want an introduction to bonsai including hands-on guidance with a juniper bonsai. Junipers are conifer trees which require being outdoors with protection or in an unheated garage during colder months to experience a dormancy period.
What to Expect: Each session will include six participants. Tom will cover essential bonsai horticulture and basic bonsai design principles and techniques as well as provide background on RMBS and bonsai in the region. Participants will receive a juniper pre-bonsai and begin initial styling on their tree. The class is limited to 6 participants to allow individual attention from Tom.
