Dan Wiedderecht: Growing maples as bonsai in the Rocky Mountains
Nursery Stock Challenge Update: Those who participated last year are encouraged to bring their trees - perhaps freshly potted in a bonsai container - to show off their work and receive feedback from fellow members. If you didn't participate last year, consider bringing in an unstyled, locally obtained piece of nursery stock to discuss and share your development plans. All of this takes place during the bonsai happy hour before the meeting.
Bonsai Happy Hour is a relaxed time to socialize, share trees, tools, or pots, and get advice from fellow members. You’re welcome to bring trees for advice, styling feedback, or display, as well as items to swap or sell to other club members.
