The weather is warming up, but snow is still very much a reality here. What is everyone working on this week with their trees? My outdoor plants are still under snow, but my tropicals and new baby trees are all waking up ready-to-go! I have a new Ebanopsis ebano that is just covered in green buds.
Is it a good time to be thinking about trimming/wiring/repotting anything?
Mixing lots and lots of soil. Doing the shuffle, and repotting a few deciduous who need it....and decided it is time to wake up.
Getting hyped for collecting time, and waiting for enough snow to melt.
I am spending the time shuffling trees in/out of the garage, potting seedlings as they arrive, inventorying materials for potting and the rest of the year to prepare, planning, and a lot of anticipating.
