I'm fairly new to bonsai and with all this time at home I'd like to practice on some inexpensive trees. Is there a good place online to buy pre bonsai or nursery stock? I am thinking procumbens nana. Thanks!
There are several nurseries in the Denver area but I'm not sure how many ship. Todd Schlafer at First Branch Bonsai would probably be willing to ship something to you. You can either select something from his site or email to see if he has something that fits your budget and confidence level.

I always love buying a few trees from Evergreen Garden Works. They do not currently have procumbens, but they do have a few other juniperus species.

Keep an eye on the Facebook auction pages: "Bonsai Auctions" and "99 Cent Bonsai"
Ebay has some quality sellers. Look at ratings to make sure they are a decent seller.
Brussels Bonsai https://brusselsbonsai.com/ You should be able to find anything from about $30 and up here.
