Inspiration Trees

Just a thread where you can put trees that recently, or not so recently have inspired your work. Maybe it will inspire someone else!

I had the joy of seeing Michael Hagedorn's Cryptomeria in his garden a few days before it went on display at the Portland Japanese garden. Then getting to see it at the garden, getting to know some of its history, and that this is its first display since long recovery from a fungal attack made it all the sweeter.
